FALL EDUCATIONAL TOURS

Educational fall tours are ideal for nursery and school children, daycare
facilities, youth groups, and scout troops.
During the pumpkin patch tour you will learn how the soil is prepared,
beds are raised, plastic ground cover and drip tape installed, and the seeds are
planted. You will learn the difference between the male and female
flower. You will see the different characteristics of over a dozen different
varieties of pumpkins grown on this farm.
The hayride will take you around the 100-acre farm.
You will see Christmas trees growing in the fields, cornfields, soybean
fields, fields of pumpkins, ponds with white muted swans, leaves changing colors
in the woods, and open fields of fresh air.
We have 2 corn mazes. One
for the young and young at heart that takes you on a winding path over an
approximate .75 acre field. The second one is more challenging with loops and
dead ends. This maze is for the
person not worried about getting lost in an approximate 2-acre cornfield for a
while.
Our emu has been on our farm for 5 years for you to see
and learn about.
When you are done the tour, each paying child will receive a small
pumpkin to take home with them.
If you are going to be here over lunch and have the time, bring your lunch and eat while you are with us.
Teachers
and group leaders may take their students to explore more of the farm if you
have the time.
We can handle special needs children.
We have a ramp for the wagons to load wheel chairs.
Please call us to answer any of your questions or to schedule your group tour at 215-797-0660. Evening calls are always welcomed. We hope to see you and your group this fall at AGA FARMS
